Matted Dogs "Humanity Before Vanity": When matting gets close to the skin, or there are many mats, it can become a problem -- and heavy matting can be even more of a problem which can cause irritation, pain, potential skin infection, and more serious problems. In the event a dog is matted, and the matting cannot be removed through brushing ad/or the pet's patience has expired, for the best interest of the pet and it's health, Bark Avenue Pet Spa LLC may be required to remove the matting through a shave-process. While this is the last resort we prefer not to take, there are times when no other option exists. In such cases, we will call you and discuss options.
